Project Monitoring, Co-ordination and Evaluation (PMCE)
The Project Monitoring, Co-ordination and Evaluation (PMCE) Division functions as the institutional backbone for systematic planning, monitoring, evaluation, and co-ordination of Research & Development (R&D) programmes. The Division extends strategic and technical support to the Head/Director in ensuring effective implementation, mid-course correction, and timely completion of research projects, technology transfer initiatives, capacity building & training (CBT) programmes, and extension communication programmes (ECPs).
PMCE adopts a structured project management framework incorporating milestone-based monitoring, outcome evaluation, financial scrutiny, and compliance tracking to enhance institutional performance and accountability. It maintains continuous oversight of CSB-funded projects, externally funded projects, consultancy assignments, contract research, and contract service projects, ensuring alignment with national sericulture development priorities.
